Abstract:
Abstract This paper presents computer techniques in the field of engineering, focused on developing an efficient and reliable file-sharing application. The operation of sharing files indicates either distribution, or providing access for digital contents included software, multimedia such as audio and images, writ-ten documents, or eBooks. When working with colleagues or sharing the results of analyses, file sharing is often an essential action. With the ever-growing demand for seamless communication and information exchange, file-sharing systems are a critical component of modern digital infrastructure. The study introduces advanced algorithms for secure data transmission, optimized compression, and enhanced error-checking mechanisms to ensure data integrity and high-speed transfers. Furthermore, the application incorporates an intuitive user interface and cutting-edge encryption protocols to safeguard privacy and prevent unauthorized access. Allowing users to share files across diverse devices and networks efficiently, showing the types of file sharing, file sharing services, and file transfer, with mentioning and explaining some examples of them. We have discussed the Apache Derby database and Vigenère cipher in brief detail, which we believe will be a document in the research field on this topic as the proposed solution addresses common challenges in current file-sharing applications, including slow transfer speeds, security concerns, and limited compatibility, making it a powerful tool for both personal and professional use.
