Abstract: Abstract The different ERP implementation strategies are presented and examined to see whether they meet the criteria for an ERP implementation strategy. Factors, which affect the selection of an ERP implementation strategy, were introduced. The factors were grouped into classes according to their effect. Finally, the influencing factors were combined to a generic model on the basis of their effect on the selection of ERP implementation strategies.
