Abstract:
Abstract This paper describes a teaching experience of information systems (IS) analysis and design unit. In this unit every student applies a socio-technical (ST) toolbox in a real life business. These projects give students experience of real world business practices, issues and processes and provide opportunities to create a stimulating learning environment. At the same time the projects help involved businesses to develop new insights and understandings of key features of their own work practices, in support of their business development.
