Michela Iannotta () and Mauro Gatti

A chapter in Empowering Organizations, 2016, pp 103-114 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In a currently global, social and digital world, new challenges are coming to companies. The evolution of Information Technology and the rapid extension of the Internet have revolutionized the way of managing human resources. Nowadays, the real challenge for organizations is to achieve, hire and retain talents in order to enhance their competitive advantage. The paper aims to analyze the emerging trends in the e-recruitment services by investigating the case study of Face4Job, an innovative Italian start-up in this sector. The purpose is to explore why and how the problems related to traditional recruitment and e-recruitment models have led to an innovative solution of “talent hunting”. Our findings show several innovative solutions in order to more efficiently match the requests of employers and job seekers and to make the search of talent much more qualified.
