Abstract: Abstract Developing operations research (OR) software that is used productively comes with degrees of freedom and restrictions. We will examine the tackled decisions, pros and cons of options, constraints imposed by company rules, and lessons learned by DB Schenker’s OR team as it developed and revised its tech stack.
