Abstract: Abstract This study provides a novel analytical framework for analyzing and understanding technological infrastructure in regional e-commerce ecosystems. As a case study, web technologies and platforms adopted by e-commerce companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are analyzed. The framework focuses on the relationships between technologies, domains, and platforms. The data analytics methods of association mining and graph visualization are integrated in the context of analyzing the technological infrastructure of e-commerce companies. This is achieved by representing the association rules that express the patterns between technologies as a graph. A second stage re-mining of a first stage data mining results in the present work is a novel approach analyzing the technological landscape for e-commerce.
