Abstract:
Abstract Clustering is a method to solve the limited scale of the planar ad hoc network. The network overhead is one of the important performances to judge whether the current planar ad hoc network should be clustered. We can get the applicable network scale of the clustered network by combining the routing mechanism, scheduling mechanism and cluster head election mechanism of the ad hoc network, comprehensively considering network fluctuations, channel quality and network scale and finally comparing and analyzing the overhead performance of the planar network and clustered network. The simulation results show that the clustered ad hoc network is more suitable for large-scale network scenarios than the planar structure ad hoc network.
