Abstract:
Abstract As the demand for product customization and individualization grows across various industries, the agricultural sector is also beginning to explore its potential for mass customization and individualization. Agricultural production systems face the dual challenge of accommodating diverse customer preferences while also considering the natural variability inherent in agricultural products. The objective of this study is to explore the existing research endeavors and practical implementations of reconfigurable manufacturing systems (RMS) within the agricultural sector. By conducting a comparative analysis with other industries, we aim to elucidate the current status and prospective applications of agricultural reconfigurable production systems (ARPS).
