Abstract: Abstract This paper shows the feasibility of dynamic modeling in virtual reality. A dynamic modeling method with generality is proposed. The whole scheme includes: point cloud data extraction, Delaunay tetrahedral data transformation, data bridging, mesh modeling and rendering. The image-processed data is converted into relational database data, which is imported into the virtual reality engine by the mesh component. Through this way, the model is built in the virtual scene. The method established a bridge between the physical world and the virtual world, enhanced the effect of data visualization and expanded its application areas. Compared with other modeling methods, this method describes the data of the physical scene more formally, and improves the real-time performance of virtual reality modeling.
