A chapter in Artificial Intelligence in Government, 2025, pp 3-7 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technology with significant potential benefits for the public sector, particularly in terms of organizational and process efficiency, as well as the automation of repetitive tasks and reduction of operational errors (Valle-Cruz et al., 2022). In this way, the interaction between AI and emerging technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, big data, and quantum computing, presents a novel ecosystem with potential advantages for public organizations (Lee & Lee, 2015).
