Chapter Chapter 1 in Setting Foundations for the Creation of Public Value in Smart Cities, 2019, pp 3-13 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the late twentieth century, with the advance of the new developments in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), a new variation of the discourse of common good was initiated and framed as the public value (PV) approach. Therefore, it is necessary to undertake research that makes proposals about the PV definition, measurement and management into the smart cities framework. Indeed, our revision indicates that there is a lack of research in these areas.
