Akira Yakita
Chapter Chapter 7 in Population Aging, Fertility and Social Security, 2017, pp 103-114 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter analyzes the effect of the benefit scheme reform from flat-rate benefits to proportional-to-contribution benefits of PAYG social security on the elderly labor supply. The elderly labor supply is expected to mitigate the financial pressure on the social security budget in population aging economies.
