Abstract: Abstract The main objective of this paper was to diagnose significant determinants of students’ entrepreneurial intentions which condition the process of creating their own company. This is a very important endeavor, since today’s students will become the business leaders of tomorrow. In the first part of the paper, we review characteristics of the most important theories concerning determinants of creating entrepreneurial intentions on the basis of relevant literature. In the second part, we present empirical findings in the subject aspect. We employ the data from the questionnaire survey conducted in 2017 with a group of 624 students of the University of Szczecin and the University of Rzeszów. Our main research tool used in our paper was a questionnaire which included thirty proper questions as well as socio-demographic questions. Our results showcase some relevant research items which best illustrate the formation of entrepreneurial intentions among our respondents.
