A chapter in Business Intelligence and Modelling, 2021, pp 141-147 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract One of the most important problems across public sector agencies in Greece is the design of their processes. Process design in building permit issuance will be analyzed in this paper, whereby the main contribution is the proposition of a new, fully revamped process, based on best-practice design principles. A comparison of the old and new processes further highlights the benefits and limitations of the proposed approach.
