Abstract: Abstract Nowadays, Museums have to make every effort to integrate digital technologies, not only as a means of expanding the museum experience, but also as a means of interacting with the complex relationship between museums and visitors. Thus, questions arise about the relevance of technological applications and their use in the Greek Art Museums. So what is the purpose, aims, and criteria of digital means integration in museums? How does this use affect the function, image, museum space, and exhibition practices? The present study researches the coexistence of technological applications in art museums. “Public Research on the Use of Technological Applications in Greek Art Museums” is an interdisciplinary, sampling research, which is part of the field of visitor studies and museum informatics.
