Chapter Chapter 31 in Advances in Quantitative Economic Research, 2022, pp 451-464 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract For groups of users of business information, from owners through potential investors, management, or employees, it is important to find out the financial situation of the company and its future development. The financial health of a company can be determined in many ways, most commonly through financial analysis indicators. The aim of this chapter is to evaluate the applicability of methods for comprehensive assessment of the financial situation of Visegrad Group companies. The basis for the evaluation of the applicability of the methods of enterprise assessment will be the analysis of the applicability of bankruptcy models. The results of the bankruptcy models will be compared with the real numbers of bankruptcies of enterprises. The sensitivity analysis showed that the IN05 index was the most suitable for practical use on businesses in the Visegrad countries.
