A chapter in Challenges and Solutions in the Digital Economy and Finance, 2022, pp 91-102 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The article draws attention to the problem of ensuring conditions for the implementation of activities to form a trend of sustainable development of regions in accordance with the development strategy of the Russian Federation. The presented analysis of the assessment of regions shows the disparity of their development, which is generally manifested in the negative impact of achieving the planned results of the implementation of national programs in Russia and the creation of a trend of sustainable development. Sustainable development of all regions of the Russian Federation is a prerequisite for the successful development of the country. The formation of models for the development of Russian regions involves an emphasis on the development of human potential, the development of social approaches that enhance economic dynamics and stimulate innovative activity, ensuring equality and sustainability in a broad context, especially taking into account the current special situation caused by the pandemic and the relevance of digitalization processes. The article draws attention to the need for a balanced formation of regions, which should be based on the harmonious development of all components of the environment, the alignment of the socio-economic, environmental, managerial situation of the regions of the country. And for this, the interaction of the state, society and man is necessary. A person is the main producer and at the same time the consumer of the results of the activity, which is based on the formation and realization of human potential. In the context of achieving sustainable development at the regional level, the problems of human potential development are of particular importance.
