Abstract:
Abstract The article is devoted to topical issues of developing an economic mechanism for monitoring the activities of departments, which will allow evaluating the department as a business unit of a higher educational institution from the point of view of educational (educational) and research and innovation activities. The methodological apparatus was made up of research methods: alternative scientific knowledge and private scientific analysis (analysis, synthesis, comparison, comparison and system-structural analysis, formalization, analysis of legal documents), modeling. The economic mechanism consists of a sequence of measures aimed at assessing the level of effectiveness of each department and includes both an assessment of the educational activities of the department and the research and innovation activities of the department. The developed economic monitoring mechanism will improve the objectivity of evaluating the effectiveness of departments, in addition, it will help to promptly make changes in the educational, research and innovation activities of the department, as well as in the strategy of the entire higher education institution, including determining the demand for specialties. All of the above will contribute to the improvement of the content of programs, methods of advanced training of teachers, which together will ensure an increase in the level of training of students, the level of qualification of teachers and financial support of the department. The study includes the following sections: introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusion and list of references.
