Abstract: Abstract The article deals with modern modifications of the lexical system and terminological development in the sphere of customs due to modern trends in the global international space considering the process of globalization and digitalization that leads to unification of the processes on the international arena specifically in the fields of international trade as well as customs procedures and customs control. Approaches to the development of the terminological and lexical professional base are closely related to the development of lexical relationships and the mutual influence of language systems.
