Chapter Chapter 40 in Advances in Empirical Economic Research, 2023, pp 641-652 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Diagnosing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has become a global topic for current and certainly future research. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) have been described as having had an enormous impact. The aim of this chapter is to present the partial results of the study of these impacts in a selected region of the Slovak Republic, using OT analysis of institutions that operate in this area and are largely within the founding powers of the self-governing region. The authors not only mentioned the impact of the pandemic on the cultural and creative industries, but also quantified the importance of the identified impacts at individual institutions through research and pointed out the importance of using research results in creating important strategic documents, including SMART strategy in areas of culture in the selected area.
