Chapter Chapter 28 in Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development Post COVID-19, 2023, pp 409-420 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter tackles the transformation of the concept of the business leadership and sustainability (especially with regard to the Sustainable Development Goals) in the post-COVID-19 period. Our study offers several key takeaways for CEOs about the business landscape after the pandemic, offering fresh perspectives on digital transformation, the future of work, transparency, and resilience. While workforce security and resilience, cost management, and organizational flexibility emerged as the highest priorities in the near term to long term, COVID-19 amplified older and introduced new business fears. The pandemic will not be the last big shock that hits businesses – and today’s business leaders will likely be increasingly judged by how well they prepare for the next one.
