Abstract:
Abstract The current paper aims to explore various methods and strategies for preparing students for successful careers in a changing business society, with a focus on students from a private high school in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. The literature review highlights the importance of equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge in an increasingly complex and dynamic job market, and how traditional education methods may fall short in this regard. The research methodology used in this paper is based on the teachers’ responses to an online questionnaire, on a quantitative research, with the aim of analyzing current practices and trends in education and career development, specifically in the context of a private high school from Bucharest. The main results of this study demonstrate that incorporating real-world experiences through internships, teaching critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and promoting lifelong learning and personal development are effective methods for preparing students for successful business careers. Additionally, the use of technology and digital tools in education is found to enhance students’ career prospects in the business sector. The paper concludes by highlighting the significance of the research and its contributions to the fiels of education and career development, providing insights and recommendations for educators and policymakers to improve the preparation of students for success in a constantly changing society.
