Abstract:
Abstract The modern economy involves the use of digital technologies and computer processing of logistics information when choosing routes and transport. This is due to the need for faster information processing and the growing volumes of this very information. The use of blockchain technology can be a direction in improving processes in transport and logistics systems, because the characteristic features are the reliability of the system; the speed of data processing and receiving “feedback”; the reliability of receiving, storing, and using information about changes in logistics transactions; and the impossibility of changing data “retroactively.” The object of research in the article will be technologies that will improve the efficiency of management of transport and logistics systems, in particular blockchain technologies. The purpose of the study is to study the directions of development of the transport and logistics system based on the use of blockchain. The main issues of the study are the problems of the introduction of blockchain technologies, their identification during the introduction of technology into the activities of enterprises, and the identification of positive aspects and possible prospects for the use of blockchain in transport and logistics systems. The conclusions and results of the research in the article show the possible benefits of using modern digital technologies in transport and logistics systems.
