Abstract:
Abstract Green bonds play a pivotal role in financing environmentally friendly projects. This study aims to investigate the determinants of green bond issuances worldwide, examining the impact of diverse independent variables on the volume of green bonds issued. Utilizing a linear regression model, our research covers 2017–2022 and explores the influence of sustainability and macroeconomic indicators on the level of green bond issues. The findings reveal significant factors shaping global green bond markets, offering valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and market participants.
