Abstract: Abstract Although a lot of literature explored the relationship between financial compensation, work-life balance, and job satisfaction, the moderating effects of different types of work arrangements have not been fully explained. Moreover, many studies focused on the issue during the COVID-19 pandemic, but few of them addressed the issue in the post-COVID-19 period. This study aims to investigate the interactions among financial compensation, work-life balance, job satisfaction, and type of work arrangement (hybrid or remote) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Data were collected through a structured survey. The sample was composed of 125 responses, well balanced across various characteristics. Using structural equation modeling, a hypothetical model was developed, and upon confirmation of the validity and reliability of the measures, the model was tested. The empirical results indicate that financial compensation does not directly affect job satisfaction, while work-life balance has a statistically significant and positive direct effect on job satisfaction. The type of work arrangement does not significantly moderate any of the mentioned relationships. Theoretical and practical implications are further discussed.
