Abstract:
Abstract Given its critical role as a cornerstone of a developing and transforming economy, entrepreneurship continues to capture the attention of scholars. In this context, analyzing the entrepreneurial traits of students becomes a valuable endeavor to assess the potential trajectory of future entrepreneurs and the business environment. As a fundamental pillar of the developing and transforming economy, entrepreneurship still captivates scholars. Analyzing the entrepreneurial inclination of students deserves the examination for the estimation of further development of the business environment. The primary objective of this research was to examine the entrepreneurial character traits among students in the Faculty of Business and to reveal the relationship between these entrepreneurial psychological attributes. By identifying the degree of their inclinations toward an entrepreneurial attitude, the study seeks to add valuable insights into the education of future entrepreneurs and the potential impact on economic development. The research is based on primary quantitative data collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics. The research examines 15 entrepreneurial character strengths of a sample of 350 business students. The results showed that the entrepreneurial character traits of students differ in gender and studying program. The results indicate significant gender differences in open-mindedness, love of learning, wisdom, perseverance, social intelligence, spirituality, equity, and courage. Other important differences were identified based on the study program. The results showed significant differences between undergraduate and master’s students. The statistical calculations reveal positive inter-correlations between all 15 entrepreneurial traits. Some interesting scores of the measured variables are very relevant for the education and business representatives.
