Abstract: Abstract The Smart-BuildSite-OD system integrates advanced object detection (OD), augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) to significantly enhance construction site safety. Utilizing devices such as HoloLens 2, the system captures high-resolution RGB-D images and head pose data for real-time monitoring and spatial mapping. By integrating 3D CAD models and scene graphs, it offers precise visualization of the site, enabling better hazard detection and management. Despite challenges like data accuracy and system complexity, the system improves safety through enhanced communication, real-time hazard detection, and comprehensive data visualization. Continuous advancements are expected to further enhance site safety and efficiency.
