Abstract: Abstract The rapid development of efficient data transmission networks and information technologies has made it possible to manage supply chains at a high level of detail. Supply chain efficiency is important to industries across sectors. Limited work though has been done on assessing supply chain performance. The purpose of this study is to present the framework for analysis and assessment in the horticultural industry. Basic indicators, logistics costs, divided into general infrastructure costs, transportation costs, delivery time, inventory levels, warehouse management costs and the quality of delivered products, need to be taken into account and analysis needs to take place for more than one year so that comparisons can be made for a company. The company that then can be part of the research needs to employ the latest best available technology production technology. This work seeks to provide guidance for enterprises that wish to increase their operational efficiency by optimizing supply chain management and implications are discussed.
