Abstract:
Abstract Current economic uncertainty made resilience a key factor for researchers and policymakers to understand how markets respond to external crises. The adoption of certain adjustments in order to remain competitive within the travel industry is mandatory, and innovation seems to be a strategic priority, as resilience has become vital for travel organizations to successfully handle external pressure. However, there is only limited research on the subject that could provide evidence for the event organizers to develop certain strategies to accomplish resilience. In this paper we present an extensive literature review and analyze research findings for building resilience in the events industry.
