Abstract:
Abstract The Amantes de Sumpa Museum, located in the province of Santa Elena, Ecuador, is an archaeological and cultural site of great importance. This research evaluates its resources and performance over the last five years, analyzing the variation in visitor influx and their demographic profile. The study reveals the impact of external events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and security issues, and offers recommendations to improve the management and optimization of the museum’s resources.
