Chapter Chapter 17 in Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Global Financial Crisis on Development in Africa, 2026, pp 345-356 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Our purpose in this research is to find out if DSC technological tools are spread out among companies and how their use can enhance their performance in an unstable environment. A qualitative study is used among 10 Moroccan organizations. Data is collected using semi-structured interviews. The interviewees were selected based on a combination of criteria. We focused on knowledgeable and committed SC managers. Thus, this study identified DSC tools, features, and critical constraints and established the DSC direct effect on corporate performance. This study will contribute to the literature in several ways. Moreover, this study can help Moroccan managers and decision-makers to understand the critical factors essential in adopting DSCs for improving organizational performance.
