Abstract:
Abstract The study investigates the development of innovation ecosystems, particularly those supported by the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), while examining the pivotal role of digital platforms in these environments. Adopting a constructive approach, the research presents a revision of the Quadruple Helix Model, highlighting the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) capabilities to enhance innovation. Moreover, it proposes a digital platform model designed to strengthen collaborative efforts and ensure seamless collaboration across academia, industry, government, and civil society. The examination of the Ukrainian WIN2EDIH project serves as a practical case study, demonstrating the implementation of such frameworks and providing a blueprint for similar initiatives worldwide.
