Abstract: Abstract Intangible cultural heritage (ICH) and cultural events are both widespread and vital aspects of Greece’s cultural landscape. Citizens actively contribute—often on a voluntary basis—to preserving the cultural identity of their regions. The promotion of this heritage is closely linked to the growth of cultural tourism, particularly when supported by digital technologies and online promotion. These tools not only help preserve tradition but also engage younger audiences. The responsibility for safeguarding cultural heritage in Greece rests with the Ministry of Culture and its officials. This study aims to examine the potential of new technologies in promoting and disseminating cultural heritage, while also assessing the extent to which the Ministry utilizes these tools effectively. Technological progress and cultural expression are shown to influence one another dynamically. The research involved an online questionnaire completed by a convenience sample of 603 employees from the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. Results highlight the positive impact of digital innovation on the visibility of ICH and related events. Respondents expressed high satisfaction with the Ministry’s digital modernization efforts, which have enhanced public outreach. Overall, findings suggest that digital advancement supports both the development of cultural tourism and the active engagement of younger generations in heritage preservation.
