Abstract: Abstract One challenge in harnessing solar energy with photovoltaic (PV) cells is the adverse impact of temperature fluctuations on their efficiency. Elevated temperatures diminish the conversion efficiency of sunlight into electrical energy and can lead to array dilatations, further degrading performance. To mitigate these effects, strategies such as airflow ventilation have been explored. In this study, we conducted experimental and numerical simulations on a collector equipped with bifacial PV cells. We implemented forced ventilation to enhance heat dissipation within the collector. Analysis involved comparing cooling efficiency using three airflow strategies. Numerical results were used for validation purposes and extrapolation to other temperature mitigation solutions. Results provided valuable insights into thermal management strategies for improving PV cell performance.
