Abstract:
Abstract Agile Project Management is an alternative to develop products and processes that meet the customers and stakeholders’ expectations assertively and frequently. Although this approach prioritizes flexible management methods, it still demands the use of performance measurement to correct deviations, predict deliveries, and learn about the product and work process. This paper poses the results of a systematic literature review on the use of performance measurement systems in the iteration phase of agile projects. The main findings highlight that designing metrics, developing information systems infrastructure, and communicating performance to the project team are key priorities. While customer satisfaction is measured, other stakeholders are neglected.
