A chapter in Technology Management for Intelligent, Open and Responsible Organizations and Ecosystems, 2026, pp 37-44 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Modern economies require high levels of innovation and collaboration between businesses, particularly in technology ventures. Those ventures often face challenges in identifying and managing synergies among partners, aligning shared values, and integrating efforts with balance and reciprocity. The uncertainty surrounding outcomes necessitates periodic re-evaluations and realignments. However, there is a lack of practical tools to support this process. To address this gap, we propose a board game designed to simulate stakeholder alignment aiming to support the development of new platforms using a specific methodology. The game simulates the process of technology venture creation supported by platforms, allowing specialists to explore and reconfigure collaborative efforts. The paper details the game’s rules and components. Finally, we discuss the feasibility of the approach based on data from one first application using three experts in Technology Management.
