Abstract: Abstract This study investigates academic and public discourses on “data-driven culture” using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). While prior research primarily focuses on academic insights, this paper maps public discourse and performs a brief bibliometric analysis to show key scientific articles. We found significant overlap and distinct differences between the discourses: academia explores theoretical foundations and strategic integration, while public discourse emphasizes practical applicability and human factors. Our results can benefit practitioners and academics by aligning scientific approaches with practical applications, broadening understanding, identifying gaps, and highlighting the study’s role in connecting theoretical and practical contexts.
