Chapter Chapter 13 in Selected Issues in Experimental Economics, 2016, pp 181-202 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The chapter presents the theoretical foundations of the preference vector method (PVM). This is the development of methods used by the Polish school which can be used in the decision-making process. The ranking of objects according to decision-maker’s preferences is performed on the basis of a combination of the following two methods for the construction of aggregate measures: the Hellwig method, in which the Euclidean distance is used, and the vector measure construction method (VMCM), which uses a vector projection.
