Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of women entrepreneurs in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This study examines similarities and differences among culturally diverse women entrepreneurs in the UAE. More specifically this chapter explores how motivation drivers change over time in reaction to market environment, as well as how social support interplays in combating the challenges women entrepreneurs face in this competitive marketplace. Furthermore, the study seeks to provide the foundation for further examination of women entrepreneurs because of their growing and forceful presence and influence in the UAE.
