Abstract: Abstract Higher education institutions’ sustainable development has recently gained great importance and has become a fundamental element in promoting sustainable economic development. This paper explores the role of strategic transparency dimensions in enhancing the sustainable development of higher education institutions. The descriptive-analytical method examined and characterized the data from 125 individuals, including decision-makers. The sample of the analysis is the Faculty of Education at the University of Kufa. The results reveal a strong and positive correlation between the dimensions of strategic transparency and sustainable development goals. This promising finding suggests that an increase in the level of strategic transparency leads to higher achievement of sustainable development goals. Furthermore, the simple linear regression analysis demonstrates that the dimensions of strategic transparency have a statistically significant effect on sustainable development goals. This underscores the vital role of strategic transparency in achieving sustainable development goals in higher education institutions in Iraq. The findings underscore the vital role of strategic transparency in achieving sustainable development goals. The more transparency there is in institutions and organizations, the greater the chances of achieving these goals. This study is a unique addition to the business administration literature, as it specifically addresses the role of strategic transparency in promoting sustainable development in higher education institutions, making it one of the rare studies of its kind. The practical implications of these findings are significant, as they provide a roadmap for enhancing strategic transparency in higher education institutions, thereby empowering decision-makers and educators to contribute to sustainable development.
