Abstract: Abstract The increasing female participation in top management has always been the subject of extensive study for women and career. Its purpose is to eliminate discrimination against women by providing them with similar opportunities for reaching leadership position and practice transformational leadership effectively. Hence, the study aims to confront the causes and effects of Queen Bee Syndrome and help in transforming leadership. The purpose of the research study is to review past research studies on the queen bee syndromes that commonly create hindrance in women’s career progression and understand how it affects in transforming leadership. This paper reports the results of a literature review of research paper, books, magazine, thesis, scholarly articles and empirical studies those are access through the different database like Scopus and Google Scholar. The result of the study could provide a better understanding of the barriers that effects the women leaders in becoming successful. The study is useful for mangers to take necessary actions to minimise the effect and provide them with the proper training that will help to develop a positive attitude for work as well as for their co- workers and ensure a healthier work atmosphere. The insights can be used by companies to foster gender equality and by companies and governments to develop appropriate and effective measures to overcome these barriers.
