Abstract The paper studies digital learning orientation, digital transformation affecting incremental, radical innovation, and total effect performance in the financial industry in Vietnam. Based on the theory of innovation diffusion and the prior researches, the study examines the relationship between digital learning orientation and digital transformation, digital transformation and incremental and radical innovation, incremental innovation and radical innovation, and organizational and financial performance. The study also identifies the moderating role of digital learning orientation in digital transformation affecting incremental, radical innovation. Using the survey, 122 qualified responses are collected from commercial banks, finance companies, and securities companies in Vietnam. The hypotheses of the proposed research model with 06 variables are examined through the SPSS and SmartPLS software. The research results demonstrate a significant impact on financial and organizational performance by improving digital transformation and incremental, radical innovation to enhance the financial and organizational performance of the financial sectors. Some managerial implications are proposed for managers in this industry. Managers of financial sector should pay attention to navigating employees of digital learning. They should reserve their investment for knowledge management of organizations to attach awareness of employees’ digital transformation. They should spend resources for incremental innovation improvement than radical innovation to enhance performance.
