Abstract:
Abstract Organizations operating successfully and those in a declining stage both resort to changing their CEO/MD and/or Top Management Team (TMT) as part of countermeasures to sustain competitive advantage and growth or for turning around declining performance. This paper’s intent is to comprehensively study the shift in organizational strategy, including business models, the impact top leadership makes in altering the organizational strategy, and other factors that influence strategic shift and how CEO personality and organizational culture affect the organization as a whole. This study is a longitudinal one that analyzes the strategic shift in organizations due to the changes.
