Abstract: Abstract The objective of this research is to examine the influence of attitude on the entrepreneurial intentions of Generation Z individuals belonging to the Asnaf community. The study incorporates various predictors of attitude based on attitude theory, with a specific focus on investigating the entrepreneurial behavior of this younger generation. The predictors tested against attitude include innovativeness, locus of control, achievement need, proactivity, and risk-taking. The researchers conducted a quantitative data-gathering process using an online survey, in which 106 university students from Sabah participated. To analyze the collected data, the researchers employed PLS-SEM (partial least squares structural equation modeling). The results of the study indicate that all the indicators used to describe attitude were significantly related to attitudes toward entrepreneurship intention, except for the need for achievement, which was found to be insignificant (B = 0.109, p = 0.299). Regarding attitude towards entrepreneurial intention, proactive behavior, locus of control, risk-taking, and innovativeness were found to have a p-value of less than 0.05, suggesting a significant relationship with entrepreneurial intentions. Based on these findings, it is recommended that entrepreneurship education should be introduced at an early age, emphasizing the importance of teaching entrepreneurial skills to low-income students in universities. This approach aims to support the younger generation from lower-income backgrounds in finding opportunities to enhance their family's quality of life.
