A chapter in Platforms and Artificial Intelligence, 2022, pp 183-192 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not the solution to everything. It is important to understand that computational models in general and AI in particular face some limitations. Overcoming these limitations requires a lot of human expertise. As a consequence, AI systems are largely made of human intelligence. This chapter gives an overview of how AI programs work, what they can do and what are their limitations. It discusses the relation of such platforms to human skills.
