Abstract: Abstract This chapter discusses cybersecurity governance and ethics in the healthcare industry. The chapter begins by exploring the data life cycle in healthcare systems and healthcare data governance frameworks. It then describes the role of data governance in big data analytics and its strategic alignments with the healthcare industry. The chapter proceeds with a discussion of security and privacy concerns in healthcare, legal, regulatory, and compliance issues, IT governance, and standard frameworks. Lastly, it presents cybersecurity awareness and adherence in healthcare including various cybersecurity awareness delivery methods.
