Chapter Chapter 4 in The Internationalization of German Software-based Companies, 2015, pp 27-63 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter integrates the results of both phases of this study. The central findings from the empirical survey of the first phase and the national and international case studies of the second phase are structured and presented based on the following topics: capital, human resources, product strategy, scalability, growth strategy, cooperation partners, and ecosystem. Each topic is illustrated with the specific measures that were taken by a successful company. Additionally, recommendations are presented for both the managers of software-based companies and the public sector.
