Abstract:
Abstract The goal of this chapter is to motivate and describe the topic and the questions that are addressed in this thesis. First, theoretical gaps in the understanding of multichannel integration services and their practical relevance are highlighted. Based on this motivation, the research questions and the scope of the work are defined. The chapter closes with an overview on the subsequent parts of the work.
