Abstract: Abstract This research aimed at theoretically developing and empirically testing a model that would better explain user resistance towards national eHealth systems. In a field yet relatively unexplored this thesis provides further scientific insights into the antecedents leading to user resistance towards eHealth technology implementation in particular and national information system implementations in general.
