Chapter Chapter 6 in Enterprise Software Sourcing Performance, 2016, pp 107-136 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In order to explore and validate the value of software sourcing modes and to investigate the relationship between software alignment and performance, an exploratory field study (Guillemette and Paré 2012) in 40 organizations was conducted. It must be noted that participants in four organizations provided not one but two detailed descriptions of process-centric enterprise software. Consequently, the final sample was composed of 44 empirical profiles of software artefacts.
